Srinivas University, Institute of Aviation Studies organised Pencil Sketch competition

Mangaluru, Jan 16: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a Pencil Sketch competition on January 13 at the Aviation Campus with the objective of encouraging creativity and artistic expression among students. The competition focused on sketching well-known Indian personalities and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 110 students of BBA aviation management, BBA aviation & logistics management, and MBA aviation management programmes.

Students demonstrated exceptional imagination, precision, and dedication through their sketches, reflecting their passion for art beyond academics. Based on the evaluation, Arjun P from II Year BBA aviation & logistics management secured the first prize, while the second prize was shared by Dhruv from II Year BBA aviation & logistics management and Pragathi Prakash Acharya from I Year BBA aviation management. In the postgraduate category, Mayur V Puthran from I Year MBA aviation management won the first prize, and Harshitha of II Year MBA aviation management secured the second prize.

The event was organized under the guidance of Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, head of the department, cultural coordinators and with the support of the other faculty members and student council members of the Institute of Aviation Studies, ensuring smooth coordination and effective execution of the event. Overall, the pencil sketch competition served as a meaningful platform for students to showcase their creativity beyond academics and contributed positively to the cultural and co-curricular environment of the institution.
