Mangaluru, Jan 14: Kavoor police on Wednesday arrested Mohan (37), son of Narayana Devadiga and a resident of Kuloor, in connection with Crime No. 3/26 registered at the police station.
Police said Mohan has been named as the fourth accused in the case, which has been booked under Sections 126, 352, 351(3), 353, 109 and 118(1), read with Section 3(5) of the relevant legal provisions. The sections pertain to allegations including assault, use of criminal force, obstruction of public servants while discharging official duties, and abetment.

According to police sources, the accused was formally arrested at the Kavoor police station on Wednesday following his identification and role in the incident under investigation. The case relates to an earlier incident in which multiple persons were allegedly involved, prompting the registration of the crime and subsequent arrests.
“With the arrest of the fourth accused, we are continuing the investigation to ascertain the full sequence of events and the involvement of others, if any,” a police official said, adding that further legal procedures are under way.
Police are expected to produce the accused before the court after completing the necessary formalities,
