Geethanjali, student of MITK represents India at AYIMUN–2025

Kundapur, Jan 13: Geetanjali Shivagonda Chougala, a student of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MITK) College, Kundapur, proudly represented India at AYIMUN–2025, one of the world’s largest youth leadership conferences held in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Out of the entire country, only seven students were selected for this prestigious conference, with Geetanjali being the sole representative from the state of Karnataka. Her selection was based on her strong academic credentials and the quality of her research paper.

During the conference, Geetanjali played an active and impactful role by analysing and presenting insightful perspectives on the global economy, technological advancement, and the importance of science-based research. Her outstanding presentation and exceptional debating skills in the panel discussions earned her the coveted “Best Delegate” award. Her scientific temperament, logical analysis, and keen interest in innovation received widespread appreciation on the international platform. She also engaged in meaningful exchanges on future science, research, and technological innovations with delegates from various countries.

Siddhartha J Shetty, chairman of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, along with the principal and professors, congratulated and appreciated Geetanjali for her remarkable achievement. “Our student has showcased India’s intellectual prowess on an international stage.
