Udupi: Serbian national dies at Hoode Paduthonse health centre

Udupi, Jan 11: A complaint has been registered regarding the death of Serbian national Zhatko Sazkas (86), who was undergoing treatment at the Hoode Paduthonse health centre.

He was admitted for treatment on Nov 4 and was shifted to a private hospital in Manipal on November 15 after experiencing dizziness. After being discharged on November 22, he was brought back to the Paduthonse health centre.

On Jan 9, he had breakfast and later took lunch. At around 1.20 pm, caregivers noticed that he was restless and had his mouth open, following which they informed the medical officer at the centre. When the doctor examined him, Zhatko Sazkas was found dead.

A case in this regard has been registered at the Malpe police station.
