Udupi: Nilesh Chauhan appointed inspector of Udupi Town police station

Udupi, Jan 7: Nilesh Chauhan has been appointed as the new inspector of the Udupi Town police station.

Following the transfer of Manjunath Badiger, who was serving as the Inspector of the Udupi Town police station, to Belagavi, the post had fallen vacant. In the interim, Mahesh Prasad, inspector of the Manipal police station, was appointed as the in-charge inspector.

Nilesh Chauhan, who was serving as the inspector in the Udupi District Special Branch (DSB), has been officially appointed as the inspector of the Udupi Town police station.
