Mangaluru: Two arrested in fake beef bill case

Mangaluru, Dec 31: Two persons have been arrested by the police in connection with Crime No. 243/25, registered in a fake beef bill case, officials said.

The arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Sattar (41), son of Abdulla, a resident of Chembugudde, Ullal, who is the owner of Badriya Beef Stall at Deralakatte, and Abdul Sattar (54), son of Ibrahim, a resident of Mullarpatna, Bantwal.

Police said both the accused were produced before a magistrate, who remanded them to judicial custody.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
