Mangaluru: Vaikuntha Ekadashi Vrata observed at Srinivas University's Vaikuntha Temple

Mangaluru, Dec 30: The Vaikuntha Ekadashi Vrata was observed at the Vaikuntha Temple located on the Srinivas University, Valachil Campus, on December 30.

The daily pooja was performed from 8:45 am to 9 am, followed by bhajana seva. From 10 am, Laksha Pushparchana (offering of one lac flowers) was offered with great devotion to Lord Srinivasa. At 12:30 p.m., the Mahapooja was offered, after which prasada was distributed to the devotees.

The programme was graced by the honourable chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable pro-chancellor Dr A Srinivasa Rao, Board of Governors trustee members A Vijayalakshmi R Rao and Prof Er A Mitra S Rao along with principals, heads of departments, and students from various colleges of Srinivas University and Srinivas Group of Colleges were present.

A large number of devotees from the public participated on the occasion and received the spiritual blessings of the religious event. The programme was successfully organised by the management committee of Srinivasa Temple Vaikuntha.
