Mangaluru, Dec 29: The fifth annual general body meeting of Kudroli Jamia Masjid was held on December 28, at the lower-level auditorium of the masjid in Mangaluru.
Following the meeting, a new managing committee was elected for a three-year term. Former member of the Legislative Council and former chief whip of the Karnataka government, Al Haj K S Mohammad Masood, was unanimously elected president for the fifth consecutive term.
Haji Makbool Ahmed was elected vice president, Haji S A Khalil as secretary, Asif Sarfuddin as joint secretary, and Sheikh Tajmul Hussain as treasurer.
The elected members of the committee include Dr Mohammad Arif Masood, S Salim, Abdul Khaliq S, Ashfaq Ahmed, Zaheed M S and Akhtar Hussain.
