Brahmavar, Dec 26: Nine passengers escaped unhurt after a tempo traveller overturned near the Brahmavar sugar factory in the early hours of Thursday after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

The tempo traveller was on its way from Kerala to Goa when the accident occurred. The vehicle went out of control near the sugar factory area at Brahmavar and overturned on the road.

All nine occupants narrowly escaped serious injuries.

Local residents and passersby rushed to the spot and helped rescue the passengers from the overturned vehicle.
