Mangaluru: Car overturns after hitting divider near Valencia

Mangaluru, Dec 25: A car overturned after hitting the road divider near the Retreat House in Valencia in the early hours of Thursday December 25.

According to sources, the car was travelling from the Nandigudda side towards Kankanady when the incident occurred at around 6.45 am. The vehicle reportedly hit the divider, causing it to overturn and land upside down on the road.

Members of the public rushed to the spot and helped lift the car back onto its wheels. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, survived the mishap without any injuries. However, the driver left the location immediately after the incident.

Police arrived at the spot within 15 minutes of an emergency call being made to the 112 helpline. Officials inspected the vehicle.

    Nearby hump is there. Must be the driver was in a hurry and driving speedily. So due to overspeed the car jumped while passing through the hump and jumped then hit the divider.

    Divider is there but no markings!. Start of the Divider needs at least one yellow paint indicator everywhere. Atleast for higher driver's attention.

    Very dark tint for a car. Something is fishy. When govt banned such dark tints why govt is allowing to sell and install such tints. Why they don't take against car accessories shop for selling and installing such tints. Why police don't stop such cars
