Byndoor: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot offers prayers at Sri Mookambika Temple

Byndoor, Dec 23: Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot visited the renowned Sri Mookambika Temple at Kollur on December 23, where he offered prayers and participated in special rituals dedicated to the presiding deity.

The Governor was accorded a traditional poorna kumbha welcome by the temple authorities on his arrival. Temple Management Committee president Babu Shetty, former MLA B M Sukumar Shetty, Executive Officer Prashanth Kumar Shetty, Udupi Deputy Commissioner Swaroopa T K, and District Superintendent of Police Hariram Shankar were present on the occasion.

Special poojas were conducted for the deity under the guidance of priests K N Narasimha Adiga, Sridhara Adiga, Subrahmanya Adiga, Govinda Adiga and Ramachandra Adiga.
