Media Release

Mangaluru, Dec 23: St Theresa’s School was immersed in the joy, peace, and warmth of the Christmas season as it celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasm and reverence across all sections of the school on December 22. The celebrations beautifully reflected the true spirit of Christmas love, sharing, and togetherness.

The high school Christmas programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the chief guest, Collete Cabral, the PTA vice president whose encouraging words and gracious presence added great value to the occasion. The primary section celebrations were honoured by Manohar D’Silva, a committed parent and PTA executive committee member, who inspired the young minds with his thoughtful message.

The programme commenced with a brief introduction, setting the tone for the celebration, followed by a solemn prayer service that invited god’s blessings and reminded everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. This was followed by a vibrant welcome dance, performed with grace and energy, instantly filling the atmosphere with festive cheer.

Students then presented a creative segment on Christmas symbols, highlighting the significance of the star, crib, candles, bells, and gifts, each symbol reinforcing the message of hope, light, and love. A touching Nativity scene, accompanied by melodious and appropriate Christmas carols, beautifully portrayed the birth of Jesus and deeply moved the audience.

Adding to the festive spirit was a lively Christmas entertainment dance, which showcased the talents of the students and spread joy among all present. The colourful performances, cheerful music, and confident expressions of the children truly brought the celebration alive.

The spirit of Christmas was further strengthened through the inspiring messages delivered by the chief guests and the school correspondent, Sr Shaila. Their words emphasised values such as compassion, gratitude, humility, and sharing, urging students to carry the joy of Christmas beyond the celebrations and into their daily lives.

The Christmas celebrations at St Theresa’s concluded on a joyful and meaningful note, leaving everyone with hearts filled with peace and goodwill. The event stood as a beautiful reminder that Christmas is not just a celebration, but a way of living radiating love, kindness, and hope to all.
