Karkala, Dec 19: The Commerce and Management Association of MPM GFGC Karkala organised a factory visit to M/s Aruna Industries at Padubidri in batches of 10 students each for II BCom AEDP logistics class on December 15, 16, 17 and 18.

In all around 37 students participated in this visit over a period of 4 days. The college thanked CA Anantesh Prabhu, MD of Aruna Industries and Sukumar, manager of the firm for showing the students around the production unit. Clear cut explanation about the types of products manufactured, packaged, marketing and logistics part of the same was given. Every batch had a special interaction with CA Anantesh Prabhu in the conference room for additional inputs about his business and fresh ideas that the firm wants to introduce in the days to come. Overall, it was a resourceful experience for all the students which will help them as they plan their career in the world of logistics.

On December 15 Chandrakanth Shenoy, on December 16 Louis Manoj and Mohini, on December 17 Chethana, Satyaprabha and Akshatha and on December 18 Jyothi & Rashmi accompanied the students for the visit.

Principal Prof Suresh Rai K was also thanked for the encouragement to go ahead with the plans of the visit, Prof Chandravathi, HOD of commerce for encouraging more outbound experience for students and faculty members from Commerce department for their collaboration in the successful execution of the factory visit.
