Mangaluru, Dec 13: Shree Devi Institute of Technology successfully hosted its annual national-level technical, cultural, and management fest, Shree Devi Sambhram’25, on December 3 and 4. Organised in association with Echelon and Medha, the fest attracted over 3,000 participants from across the country, making it a grand celebration of innovation, talent, and creativity.
The fest was inaugurated by Madhusudhana Rao R D, regional manager, Career Education at ISA Expert Labs, IBM India, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. A Sadananda Shetty, chairman of the Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangaluru, presided over the ceremony, with the presence of dignitaries like Nidhish S Shetty, vice chairman, and Priyanka N Shetty, trustee of Shree Devi Education Trust.










Dr K E Prakash, principal & director of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Dr Nethravathi P S, vice principal, and faculty convenors, including Prof Rashma Jain, convenor of Shree Devi Sambhram’25, Dr Gayathri B J, convenor of Echelon’25, and Prof Vidya Rani, convenor of Medha’25, were also present.
The event featured a range of exciting competitions across technical, cultural, and management domains. Day 1 highlighted technical events such as web designing, robo soccer, aircraft investigation, and mega circuit build, while Day 2 showcased cultural events like Face off dance, Yakshagana, Reel making, treasure hunt, face painting, gully cricket and many more. The fest also included a food fest, Bite-Bazaar, and a live radio show, Dhwani FM.
The Thaikkudam Bridge Concert on December 3 was a spectacular musical experience, captivating the audience with their energetic performance and unique fusion of genres, with around 5,000 attendees happily participating in the celebration. On December 4, DJ Sonal's electrifying show was the highlight of the evening, setting the stage on fire with her vibrant beats and infectious energy, leaving the crowd mesmerized as thousands danced along.
Additionally, the MBA department hosted Echelon’25, a management fest centered around Quick Commerce, while the MCA department’s Medha’25 presented exclusive technical events with the theme Cosmos.
The fest concluded with a valedictory ceremony on December 4, marking the end of two days filled with innovation, talent, and competitive spirit. During the ceremony, cash prizes and trophies worth 5 lacs were awarded to the winners, celebrating their exceptional achievements and contributions to the fest.
