Mangaluru, Dec 9: St Agnes School, Bendore, proudly acknowledged the exceptional participation of its young karate athletes at the 36th State-level Inter-Dojo Karate Championship – 2025, conducted under the Praveen Kumar Memorial Cup on December 6 and 7 at Sri Gokarnanatheshwar Temple, Kudroli, Mangaluru.
Organised by the Institute of Karate & Allied Arts, Bajal, Jappinamogaru and Yekkur Dojos, this prestigious championship attracted competitors from various dojos across the state.
The students of St Agnes School CBSE demonstrated admirable discipline, focus and sporting spirit as they competed across multiple categories. Their participation reflected months of dedicated training and a strong commitment to mastering the art of karate.

The championship witnessed an impressive performance from the karatekas of St Agnes School CBSE. In the junior category, Deanna Sarah Lasrado (class V B, Brown belt) excelled by securing I place in Kata and I place in Kumite, while Payal R Poojary (class VIII D, green belt) achieved II place in Kata and I place in Kumite in the 13–14 years category. The brown belt achiever Ditya Ullal (class VI B) secured III Place in Kumite and III Place in Kata in the 35–40 kg division, showcasing commendable determination and technique.
In the senior belt category, Anvita A (class IX D, senior black belt) showcased remarkable skill by winning II place in Kata and I place in Kumite in the 50–55 kg group, while Ridima Ranjith (class IX C, senior brown belt) secured II place in Kata and I place in Kumite in the 60–70 kg category. Nilani Ullal (class IX B, senior brown belt) further added to the accolades by achieving II place in Kumite in the above 70 kg division. Their spirited involvement brought pride to the school, showcasing their resilience, confidence and growing expertise in martial arts.
The management, principal, staff and students conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the participants, commending their hard work, dedication and sportsmanship. Warm wishes were extended to the young karatekas as they continued striving towards higher milestones in the field of martial arts.
