Mangaluru, Dec 9: St Agnes School, Bendore, celebrated an exceptional display of sporting talent as its young athletes delivered remarkable performances at prestigious badminton tournaments. Renisha Mathias (X C) secured the runners-up position in the under-17 girls singles, while Thansi (VIII C) achieved the runners-up title in the under-15 girls doubles category at the Namo Badminton Tournament held on November 29 and 30 at the Urwa Indoor Stadium. Their admirable skill and determination added pride to the institution’s sporting achievements.

In another remarkable feat, Amruth Sequeira (VIII A) exhibited exceptional prowess at the under-15 girls singles tournament, organised by Lions International and held on November 30 at the Father Muller Indoor Stadium. Her consistent performance and competitive spirit earned her the Runners-up title, further enriching the school’s list of accolades.

The management, principal, staff and students acknowledged the young achievers’ accomplishments with sincere appreciation, commending their discipline, determination and sportsmanship, and extending warm wishes for greater milestones in the world of sports.
