Mangaluru, Dec 4: Wine aficionados in the city can look forward to a festive indulgence as the ever-popular Kadri Park prepares to host a grand wine fair once again. The large-scale event, which has consistently drawn remarkable public response over the years, will return on December 6 and 7, following strong consumer demand.

Organised by Ratna’s Wine Gate in collaboration with the Karnataka Grape and Wine Board (a government body) and the Department of Horticulture, the fair will run from 10.30 am to 9.30 pm, featuring continuous tasting sessions, entertainment, and attractive discounts.

The event will offer insights into the health benefits of grape wine, tasting techniques and storage practices, alongside an impressive showcase of wines from state, national and international brands. Companies will present their latest collections, newly launched beverages, and a ‘taste-and-choose’ facility—expected to be a major draw for visitors.

Wine producers will extend exclusive offers and appealing discount rates, making the fair a prime opportunity for enthusiasts to make their purchases.

Adding to the vibrancy of the fair, evenings will feature live track music, while children can enjoy various games and competitions. A family-friendly atmosphere has been created for visitors to spend the entire day at leisure.

The organisers said, “This year’s fair is even more diverse. We are introducing new products and creating an ambience for customers to enjoy the experience. We urge the public to turn up in large numbers and make full use of the opportunity.”
