Raipur, Dec 3: South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bowl in the second ODI against India on Wednesday. Bavuma returned to the playing XI after missing the first match and was one of the three changes made by the hosts, with Keshav Maharaj and Lungi Ngidi also coming in. They replaced Prenelan Subrayen, Ryan Rickelton and Ottniel Baartman.
India, leading the three-match series 1-0, went in with an unchanged lineup. The toss added to an unusual streak for India, marking the 20th consecutive time they have lost the toss in ODIs.
