Mangaluru, Dec 2: A highly enriching and interactive career guidance session was conducted for the students of class 10 on December 2 at St Theresa’s School by Abhimanyu Tomar from Allen Coaching Centre, one of the most respected names in physics education and student mentoring. The programme was organised in association with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
The session focused on equipping students with effective strategies to prepare for their upcoming board examinations. Tomar emphasised that the skills to analyse, question, and verify must be cultivated in every learner, as these habits form the foundation of strong academic performance.

He guided the students on studying efficiently with appropriate breaks, highlighting the importance of balancing focused study sessions with short intervals of rest. He also stressed the value of solving previous years’ question papers and carefully analysing errors, as this practice helps students recognise patterns, improve accuracy, and build confidence.
Addressing students’ overall well-being, Tomar underscored the need for a healthy routine. He recommended that students get at least seven hours of sleep, calling it crucial for memory retention and mental alertness.
The session also included a lively question-and-answer segment, where students clarified their doubts regarding exam strategies, time management, and subject-wise preparation.
Tomar concluded by encouraging students to adopt a focused and disciplined approach to exam preparation, ensuring consistency, clarity, and confidence in their studies.
The session proved to be highly motivating, leaving students better prepared and inspired to face their board examinations with determination.
