Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dec 1: As the United Arab Emirates commemorated its 54th National Day, Al Khalidiya Group joined the nation in celebrating a journey defined by unity, vision, and unwavering progress.
This year’s celebration, held under the theme ‘Eid Al Etihad – 54: Symbolising the Spirit of Union’, brought together employees, management, customers, and distinguished guests for an event reflecting the company’s gratitude to the UAE and its leadership.
A leader reflecting the UAE’s values
At the heart of Al Khalidiya Group’s success stands Benedict Pinto, founder and chairman, a leader whose life story echoes the UAE’s spirit of opportunity, resilience, and ambition. Arriving in the UAE in 1996 with humble beginnings, Pinto worked tirelessly to master the trades of aluminium, glass, and steel fabrication. His determination, work ethic, and compassion shaped not only his personal success but also the identity of the organisation he would later build.
In April 2005, he established a modest aluminium fabrication unit, a step that laid the foundation for what has now become a regional business group.
“The UAE has always been a land of opportunity, growth, and dignity for all who call it home. It is our shared responsibility to honour this nation through dedication, unity, and gratitude,” Pinto said.

Today, Al Khalidiya Group stands as a diversified conglomerate with 13 divisions across aluminium, metals, glass, automobiles, hardware trading, joinery, interiors, and waterproofing. Supported by more than 1,000 employees, including skilled staff and labour, the Group continues to expand its footprint across the GCC.
A major milestone was achieved last year with the establishment of a 27,500 sq ft glass processing unit in Muscat, Oman, marking significant regional growth and market presence.
