Mangaluru, Nov 28: The delivery ceremony of the all-new Škoda Octavia RS was held at the Škoda showroom in Chilimbi on Friday, November 28. The premium performance sedan was purchased by Dr Rajnish Sorake, managing partner of the Sorake Group.
Kiran Suvarna, manager of the Škoda showroom, handed over the keys to the new owner in the presence of staff and well-wishers.
About the all-new Octavia RS
Engineered with rally-bred DNA, the Octavia RS is designed for enthusiasts seeking a heightened driving experience. Škoda has channelled decades of motorsport expertise into this everyday performance sedan.
Powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 195 kW and 370 Nm of torque, it is the most powerful Octavia ever built. Key performance figures include a 7-speed DSG transmission, front-wheel drive, 0–100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
Progressive steering enables quick cornering response, while the sports suspension enhances stability. A sports exhaust system delivers the signature RS note.
