Mangaluru, Nov 24: “Milagres Milan–2025,” an inter-school talent show competition, was held on November 20 at Milagres PU College, Hampanakatta. Hundreds of students from various high schools across Mangaluru city and Dakshina Kannada district enthusiastically participated in the event. The program was inaugurated by renowned comedy actor Mr. Aravind Bolar.
Speaking on the occasion, Aravind Bolar said that Milagres College is one of the prominent institutions in Mangaluru city, and organizing a meaningful program like Milagres Milan in such a historic institution to showcase the talents of school children is truly commendable. He appreciated the efforts of the Milagres Pre- University College for encouraging students’ talents in culture and sports and extended his best wishes. The event was held under the leadership of Melwin Vas, principal, Milagres PU College, and the staff.







































Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent, Milagres Educational Institutions Silvester Mascarenhus, vice-president of parish pastoral council; rev. Dr. Alwyn Serrao, principal, Degree College and Campus director; Fr Uday Fernandes, principal, Central School; Dr. Diana Lobo, principal, Nursing College, Rehana Sultana, PTA vice president; Jacinta Fernandes, secretary, parish council; and others were present.
Students from various schools participated in events such as Pencil Sketch, Mehendi, Face Painting, Rangoli, and Waste to Wealth, Reel Making, Nrutyanjali, Collage, Treasure Hunt, and many more. Students actively took part in all competitions. In addition, Kabaddi, Throw ball, and Volleyball sports competitions were also conducted.
By evening, all competitions concluded and prizes and awards were distributed to the winners. The winners in team and individual categories were honoured by Principal Melwin Vas and Rev. Dr. Alwyn Serrao. Carmel English Medium School, Kotekar, emerged as the Overall Champions, winning the championship trophy.
The program was well coordinated by Hilda Lobo, cultural coordinator, Siggy Perumayen, sports coordinator, along with the teamwork of all staff.
