'Inspire X’ inter-college fest held at Karkala MPM Government College

Karkala, Nov 21: The Manjunath Pai Memorial Government First Grade College organised an inter-college fest, ‘Inspire X’, for PUC students on November 21.

Inaugurating the event, former principal and CDC member Shree Varma Ajri said that along with higher education, students must learn to shape their own lives. He added that success in life does not depend only on marks but also on the life lessons one learns, and encouraged students to nurture their talents during their academic years.

Chief guest CA Roy Sudeep D’Souza, partner at Roy & Roy, urged students to develop good values and serve their parents while focusing on learning.

Presiding over the programme, principal Dr Suresh Rai K said the college provides quality education along with opportunities for creative activities.

Inspire X coordinators Manoj Louis Ambrose and Dr KC Subrahmanya, student welfare officer Dr Chandravati, and committee secretaries Karthik Nayak, Priya Risha, Suraj, and Vikhyat were present.

Student Ananya compered the event. The Yajnareshwari team offered the prayer, Vinay MS welcomed the gathering, and Soumya HK proposed the vote of thanks.
