Udupi: SMVITM students secure first place in 24-hour Hackathon

Udupi, Nov 19: At the 21st Karnataka State Level ISTE Student Convention 2025, hosted by Yenepoya Institute of Technology (YIT), the hackathon team JIGSAW from the computer science and engineering department, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), secured 1st place in the 24-hour Hackathon.

The team Jnanesh P Palan, Kaushik Sanil, and Nikshith H Palan showcased exceptional innovation, technical skill, and teamwork throughout the event, earning a cash prize of 15,000.

The management and principal of SMVITM have extended their heartiest congratulations to the winning team and wished them continued success in their future endeavors.
