Mangalore Management Association holds annual general meeting, elects new governing body

Mangaluru, Nov 14: Mangalore Management Association, affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, conducted the annual general meeting on November 10 in the SDM PG Centre conference hall, Mangaluru.

Outgoing president K Jairaj B Rai commenced the session, the outgoing secretary Dr Prameela S Shetty presented the annual reports, and the treasurer Dr MS Arun Kumar Shetty presented the annual accounts-balance sheet and the budget for the next term.

After the Proceedings of the AGM, election was held for the new governing body for the period 2025-27 by the MMA returning officer Dr K Janardhana. Edward J Coelho was unanimously elected as the president, K Krishna Shetty as the vice president, Dr Ramya Shetty as the secretary, Dr M S Arun Kumar Shetty as the treasurer and C Sachidananda Shetty as the joint secretary along with 8 other members for the governing body are Sudheesh S (Aspinwall and Company Limited), Dr Sapna Shetty (A J Institute of Management), Shareef Makhan(Hasan Haji & Co), Chethan Mendonca (MCF Limited), Marcel Monteiro, Molly Chaudhuri, Dr K E Prakash, and Vincent C D’Souza. Resolved as ex-officio members are past president K Jairaj B Rai and past secretary Dr Prameela S Shetty.

Past president thanked all the members of the governing body, all the members of MMA and authorities of SDM PG Centre and the returning officer.

He welcomed the new team of governing body of MMA and assured full pledged support to the new team. AGM ended with national anthem. High tea was served.
