Udupi, Nov 10: Four individuals have been arrested after a silly fight broke out on the night of November 8 near a bar-restaurant in Ishwar Nagar, Manipal.
A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
The arrested have been identified as Amar Shetty, Chandan C Salian, Dhanush, and Ajay.
According to police, the scuffle began when Chandan accidentally brushed Amar’s hand while they were dining at the bar-restaurant. The trivial incident quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, with the parties exchanging blows on the street.
The Manipal police have registered a formal case and taken all four into custody.
Legal proceedings are now underway.
