Washington, Nov 10: An Indian man living in the United States has gone viral on social media after stopping to help a paralysed woman stranded in heavy rain and personally driving her to her daughter’s house.

The man, identified as Noah, shared the heartwarming encounter on Instagram, where the video quickly struck an emotional chord with viewers. In the clip, Noah is seen speaking gently to the elderly woman amid pouring rain, asking, “It’s raining pretty hard. So where do you gonna go? You can’t able to watch. How can I help you tonight?” The woman responds that she wishes to go to her daughter’s home, after which Noah helps her into his car and ensures she reaches safely.

Sharing the video, Noah wrote, “I saw a paralyzed woman struggling in the rain, just trying to reach her daughter. She had given up everything, now living in her daughter’s garage with nothing but love in her heart. I stopped and gave her a ride — to make sure she got home safe. Sometimes, kindness is all it takes to change a moment... or a life.”

The video has received widespread praise for its display of humanity. Many viewers lauded Noah’s compassion, calling him a true example of kindness. Comments flooded in from across the world, with one user writing, “Good hero,” and another saying, “God bless you brother, you are a gem.”

One viewer commented, “Be like him. To every Indian living abroad — after every act of help, mention your name and say you are from India. It creates a lasting impact. One day they’ll remember that an Indian once helped them.”

Some, however, questioned the filming of the scene. One user asked, “Why was he filming? Was it pre-decided that this woman needed help, and the video was made to go viral?”

Responding to such queries, Noah clarified that the woman had a friend’s support and could walk short distances with help. He added that people should listen to others’ stories before judging them, saying that understanding someone’s circumstances could change perspectives.

The video continues to garner views and praise, with many describing Noah’s act as a reminder of the power of compassion in today’s world.
