Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology hosts inaugural function of Envision Juniors 2025

Mangaluru, Oct 31: The inaugural ceremony of Envision Juniors 2025, a national-level techno-cultural fest, was held on October 31, at Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Valachil, Mangaluru.

The event was presided over by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology. The institution successfully organised this mega intercollegiate fest, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 1,283 students from 58 PU colleges across the region.

Envision Juniors 2025 served as a vibrant platform for young talents to showcase their skills and creativity across sports, technical, and cultural domains, reflecting SIT’s commitment to fostering holistic development, innovation, and excellence among students.

The programme commenced with an invocation by Deeksha Sharma and Chaithra, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr Dheeraj Hebri, training and placement officer & sports coordinator, Prof Shashank K, assistant placement coordinator, and Prof Rakesh Mallya, coordinator of Envision Junior 2025.

A brief introduction about the event was presented by Dr Sumana V S, cultural coordinator. In his presidential address, Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D appreciated the enthusiasm and participation of students, emphasising the importance of active involvement in such multidimensional events. He encouraged students to take part in activities that nurture their overall personality and professional growth.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D also highlighted the remarkable journey of Srinivas Institute of Technology, elaborating on its diverse academic programmes and the institute’s vision to guide students toward the right career paths. He further urged participants to explore the SIT campus, interact with senior students, and learn from the ongoing innovative projects within the institution.

The event was graced by heads of departments, principals, and faculty members from various PU colleges and sister institutions, symbolising a strong academic collaboration and community engagement. The masters of ceremony were Prof Prajwal Kulal and Prof Reshmi from the MBA Department, who skilfully anchored the programme.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof Rakesh Mallya, accompanied by Prof Prajwal and Prof Reshmi.

Envision Juniors 2025 stood as a testament to SIT’s vision of nurturing young minds, fostering creativity, and creating a dynamic platform for students to excel in technical, cultural, and sports arenas continuing the institute’s legacy of academic and co-curricular excellence.
