Special lecture on 'Poetry Writing' held at MPM Govt First Grade College, Karkala

Karkala, Oct 28: A special lecture on 'Poetry Writing: A Guidelines' was organized on October 27 at Manjunatha Pai Memorial Government First Grade College, Karkala, by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), literary association, and the department of Kannada.

The resource person for the session was Sulochana Pachinadka, lecturer in Kannada at Sri Bhuvanendra College, Karkala. She guided the students on the essential elements and learning aspects required for writing poetry.

Dr Suresh Rai K, principal of the college, presided over the program. Vinay M S, coordinator of IQAC, Chethan B, coordinator of the literary association, and Renuka H G, head of the department of Kannada, were present on the occasion

Prajna, a third-year BA student, hosted the programme; Thripthi, from third-year BA, offered the prayer; Chethan B, assistant professor, welcomed the gathering; and Keerthan, a third-year BA student, proposed the vote of thanks. Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the college were present at the programme.
