Aston Villa shocked by Go Ahead Eagles, Dyche wins with forest

Daijiworld Media Network - London

London, Oct 25: In Thursday’s UEFA Europa League action, Aston Villa suffered a surprise 1-2 defeat against Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles, while Sean Dyche began his tenure as Nottingham Forest manager with a 2-0 victory over Porto.

Villa’s Emi Buendia, hero in Sunday’s win at Tottenham, saw his fortunes reverse as he missed a late penalty, denying the team a chance to salvage a draw.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest secured their first win in 10 games, thanks to successful spot-kicks by Morgan Gibbs-White and Igor Jesus, giving Dyche a winning start in Europe.
