ICYM Bantwal Deanery, Nirkan hold devotional evening 'Moriye Sangim Chamkuyam'

Mangaluru, Oct 23: The youth of ICYM Bantwal Deanery and ICYM Nirkan organised a soulful devotional evening titled “Moriye Sangim Chamkuyam” on Saturday, October 18, at 6:45 pm at St Thomas Church Hall, Nirkan, filling the hearts of the faithful with prayer, music, and devotion to Mother Mary.

The evening commenced with the Rosary, led with deep reverence, as glowing candles illuminated the surroundings, creating a serene atmosphere of faith and reflection. It was followed by a spiritual skit portraying the joyful mysteries of the Rosary, beautifully enacted by the youth, reminding everyone of Mother Mary’s unwavering trust in God’s divine plan.

The programme received an overwhelming response from the parishioners and attendees.

On this occasion, Fr Robert D’Souza, director of ICYM Bantwal Deanery and Fr Anil Roshan Lobo, director of ICYM Nirkan Unit; Prem Jeethan Pinto, president of ICYM Bantwal Deanery; Vincent Bennis, vice president of PPC Nirkan & animator of ICYM Nirkan unit; Shanthi Veigas, secretary of PPC Nirkan; Austin Lobo, coordinator of Commissions, Nirkan; Arwin Fernandes, president of ICYM Nirkan Unit; and Melwita Crasta, secretary of ICYM Nirkan Unit, were seated on the dais.

Also present were the ICYM Bantwal Deanery executive committee members, members from various deanery units, ICYM Nirkan unit office-bearers, and several parishioners from Nirkan and neighboring parishes.

Prem Jeethan Pinto, president of ICYM Bantwal Deanery welcomed everyone for the concluding stage programme, whereas Arwin Fernandes, president ICYM Nirkan unit conveyed vote of thanks. Primal Pinto, PRO of ICYM Bantwal Deanery compered the event.
