Udupi, Oct 23: Sanjay Shetty (65), a resident of Korangrapady, proprietor of Poonja Travels, passed away on October 23 following a brief illness.
Sanjay Shetty, a well-known hotel entrepreneur and proprietor of Poonja Travels, was recognised for his charitable contributions and social involvement. He was actively associated with the development works of Korangrapady Vishnumurthy Temple’s Brahmakalasha, and Mahishamardini School, Beluru.
Known for his friendly nature and community service, he had earned great affection and respect in the regions of Marpalli, Korangrapady, and Beluru.
The deceased was the brother-in-law of Prabhakar Poonja of Poonja International
He is survived by his wife, a son, and his sisters.
