Mumbai, Oct 22: A BMW overturned late Tuesday night inside a tunnel on Mumbai’s Coastal Road near Tardeo, temporarily slowing down southbound traffic, according to officials.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. A video of the overturned vehicle quickly made the rounds on social media, drawing attention to the mishap.
Mumbai Traffic Police posted an update on X (formerly Twitter), alerting commuters: “Traffic Movement Is Slow At Coastal Road (Tardeo) South Bound Due To BMW Car Accident.”
Authorities cleared the car from the tunnel shortly after, allowing traffic to return to normal. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
