Bengaluru, Oct 20:
Ola Electric has come under serious scrutiny following the suspicious death of one of its employees, with an FIR registered against the company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal. The case has taken a shocking turn after a large sum of money was credited to the deceased’s account and a 28-page death note was found at his residence.

According to reports, K Aravind, who worked in the company’s Homologation Engineering division, allegedly consumed poison and ended his life on September 28. Initially, his death was registered as an Unnatural Death Report (UDR). However, two days later, a huge sum of Rs 17.46 lac was transferred to his account by the company, which raised suspicions among his family members.

Aravind’s relatives questioned the company regarding the sudden transfer, but the explanations provided by the HR and a few other staff members were reportedly vague, which further deepened the family’s doubts. Upon searching his room, they discovered a 28-page death note.

In the note, Aravind allegedly accused CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and senior officer Subrata Kumar Das of subjecting him to immense workplace pressure and mental harassment. He reportedly mentioned that he was denied his due salary and allowances, and that the constant pressure and humiliation from them had driven him to take the extreme step.

Based on the contents of the death note, Aravind’s family filed a complaint. A case has been registered at the Subrahmanyapura Police Station under IPC Section 108 and 3(5) against Subrata Kumar Das (A1), Bhavish Aggarwal (A2), and Ola Electric Company (A3).

The incident has cast a shadow over the company’s reputation, and investigations are underway.

Ola is poorly managed company. He is not serious to provide services to existing Ola scooters owners. My scooter is at there service centre since last 15 days and they have changed me more than ten thousand rupees and vehicle is not repaired. There service centres are stressed and charging extra money from customers because they are not getting support from company.

Its so sad .A young man wrote x pages death note and suicided. Now his death note brings him not back .whatever the verdict one gives.A precious life is gone.Instead of that he could have left the job and look elsewhere. When there was pressure ,no proper payment simply take a lawyer and go to the court. Now its no use family has to live without him.All his notes will not bring any success .May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to his family.

RIP! Wrong decision to commit suicide for being harassed at the work place; he should have quit the job under protest! IMHO, nothing is going to come out of this; better do out of court settlement!!
