Kolar, Oct 16: In a tragic incident that has shocked the district, Akhtar Begum, a teacher from B. Hoshahalli Government School, was found dead in Ipalli Kere, KGF taluk, two days after she went missing while conducting a census survey in Narasapura.

Akhtar Begum, a resident of Mahalaxmi Badavane, Kolar, had been reported missing, prompting the Kolar police to register a missing person case. Sources suggest that the teacher was under significant mental stress due to pressure to complete the survey, raising concerns about her well-being.

The circumstances of her death are currently unclear, with authorities investigating whether it was a case of suicide or foul play.
