Udupi, Oct 16: Entrepreneur and social worker Alwyn Quadros from Kote has been elected as the new president of Prerana – Karavali Christian Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KCCCI) for the term 2025–27.

A dynamic leader and well-known organizer, Alwyn Quadros has earlier served in various capacities, including president and member of organizations such as the Catholic Sabha and the Rotary Club. He is also serving as a director of the Brahmavar Catholic Credit Co-operative Society.

The election of the new office bearers was held at the Valley View Country Club, Manipal.

The newly elected team of office bearers includes:

• Vice president: Jitendra Furtado, Palimaru

• General secretary: Wilson D’Souza, Shirva

• Treasurer: Maxim Stephen Saldanha

• Joint secretary: Jeevan Salins, Kundapur

The event marked a new beginning for the chamber, with members expressing optimism about the association’s future growth and community service under the leadership of Alwyn Quadros.
