Medical internship at Seven Star Hospital, Kandivli inspires St Lawrence Borivli students

Media Release

Mumbai, Oct 16: Students of St Lawrence High School, Borivli (West), who had shown aptitude for medical science in their Career Guidance results, were recently given an exceptional opportunity to participate in a medical internship programme at Seven Star Hospital, Kandivli (East).

During the visit, students were taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where doctors explained procedures, safety protocols, and the critical role of teamwork in saving lives. The young learners also had interactive sessions with senior doctors, who shared their experiences and highlighted the dedication, discipline, and compassion needed in the medical profession.

The initiative provided first-hand exposure to hospital functioning, bridging classroom learning with real-world application, and inspiring many students to consider healthcare as a noble career path.

Expressing gratitude, the school authorities said, “We are deeply thankful to our honourable chairman sir, Dr A F Pinto, and our managing director madam, Dr Grace Pinto, whose vision and guidance made this enriching experience possible for our students.”

The programme was highly appreciated by students and parents alike for offering such meaningful insight into the field of medicine.
