Bengaluru, Oct 10: Mangaluru-based author Reshel Bretny Fernandes presented her book Bharat @ 2047: Role of Youth to the Governor of Karnataka, Thawar Chand Gehlot, at Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru.

The Governor appreciated her work and commended the book as a timely and thoughtful reflection on the role of youth in shaping India’s future. 

Fernandes’ book explores India’s path to 2047—marking 100 years of independence—with a strong focus on youth leadership, innovation, sustainability, and cultural identity. She urges India’s youth to become proactive participants in nation-building.
