Sharad Pawar meets Jay A Shetty family to discuss kabaddi and sports development

Mumbai, Oct 9: Former union home minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar met with the Shetty family, renowned Tulu Kannadigas and recipients of the prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati Award for sports excellence, at his Silver Oak residence in Breach Candy, Mumbai.

The meeting included Jay A Shetty, his wife Chhaya J Shetty, and their son Gaurav J Shetty. Jay Shetty, a close associate of Pawar, serves as the life president of the Maharashtra Kabaddi Association and is the founding president of the Asian Kabaddi Federation. Discussions during the meeting focused on the development of Kabaddi and other sports initiatives.

Sharad Pawar warmly interacted with the family and extended his best wishes, highlighting his continued support for sports and athletes in the state.
