Dubai, Oct 8: The Konkan Bells Beltangady Varado Dubai will present the Seva Rathna 2025 Award in recognition of outstanding service, generosity, and commitment to community welfare.
This year, the honour will be bestowed upon Walter Pereira, Michael D’Souza and Joseph Mathias, three distinguished dignitaries and philanthropists from the UAE whose humble yet impactful contributions have touched countless lives.

A man of deep compassion and humility, Walter Pereira has extended his support to numerous associations and communities. His noble contributions include the construction of a church in Africa. Despite his immense generosity, he remains a humble individual who shies away from the spotlight, never seeking recognition for his good deeds.
Michael D’Souza – A generous benefactor
Known for his open-hearted generosity, Michael D’Souza has extended his support across communities, embodying the true spirit of giving without boundaries. His kindness continues to inspire many within the Konkani and wider Karnataka communities in the UAE.

The Konkan Bells Sports Meet 2025, will be held after an 11-year gap, on Sunday, October 12, at Manara Sports Hall, Jumeirah, Dubai. Organized under the leadership of founder president Remigius D’Souza and his dedicated committee members, the event is aimed to promote unity among people from Karnataka and to support the needy both in Dubai and back home in India.
The event is being made possible through the generous contributions of sponsors and well-wishers, with all proceeds directed towards helping Gulf-based workers facing financial challenges in their daily lives.
