Lions Club Mangalore centennial installs new office bearers for 2025-26

Mangaluru, Oct 3: The installation ceremony of newly-elected office bearers of Lions Club Mangalore Centennial for the year 2025/26 was held at Lions club Ashoka Bhavan, Kadri here recently.

Lions district 317 D second vice district governor Lion Govardhan K Shetty and Lion Supreetha Shetty installed in the ceremony. Lion Amala Maria Quadros MJF as president, Diana Shanbhoge as secretary and Jacinta Lobo as treasurer.

The outgoing president Lion Sriram Rai, secretary Andrea Fernandes were present. Jacinta Lobo served as past treasurer.

Lion Vincent Pereira, appointed as club PRO Lion Richard Pinto, as first VP, second vice-president Herald D Cunha, Lion Hilda Urwa as 3rd VP & tail twister, Lion Laster Pereira as Tamer, Lion Ujwal Albert D’Cunha as service activities chairperson, Lion Srisha Rai membership committee chairperson.

The club bulletin editor charter member Lawrence M Lobo MJF, co-editor Vincent Pereira, regional chairperson Ravishanker Rai and district coordinator Chandrahas Rai were present in the dais.

Lion Juliet Mascarenhas, club extension chairperson arranged the programme.

Leo Club president Daniel D’Souza, secretary Collin Ferrao &, treasurer Gilchrist Lewis were also took oath during the programme.

The event concluded with fellowship & dinner. More than 100 dignitaries from district 317 D were present. After the installation the club arranged a cultural programme.
