Palestinian authority welcomes Trump’s efforts to end Gaza war

Ramallah, Sep 30: The Palestinian Authority on Monday lauded former US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a plan to end the ongoing war in Gaza, calling his initiative a “sincere and determined” step toward peace.

In an official statement, the Authority said it “welcomes the sincere and determined efforts of President Donald J Trump to end the war on Gaza, and affirms its confidence in his ability to find a path toward peace.”

Trump recently unveiled a proposal aimed at halting hostilities in the conflict-ravaged Gaza Strip, drawing international attention as violence in the region continues to claim lives and worsen the humanitarian crisis.
