What is 360-Degree Cinema?
Explaining the concept, Bollywood Park director Santosh Mijgar said “The 360-Degree Cinema is a unique experience where audiences feel completely surrounded by the film. Wherever they look, the film is visible around them, making them feel like a part of the story itself.”
He added that the technology offers:
Immersive and realistic experiences – from deep-sea diving to space exploration, from volcanic eruptions to jungle safaris, everything feels real.
Blend of education and entertainment – children enjoy science, nature, and adventure-related films, while families get to experience something new together.
Cutting-edge technology – high-definition projection, 3D/7D effects, and surround sound make the viewing even more lifelike.
Mijgar further said, “The 360-Degree Cinema is not just entertainment, it is a blend of knowledge, thrill, and unforgettable experiences.”
With this new addition, Bollywood Park aims to provide tourists with entertainment, education, and information through fast-evolving technology, while also enriching Maharashtra’s cultural heritage. Located inside Mumbai’s Filmcity, Bollywood Park is already a major tourist attraction, offering visitors glimpses of famous TV serial and film locations.
