Mangaluru: FIR registered against Kollamogru gram panchayat vice president on theft charges

Mangaluru, Sep 26: An FIR (No. 0051/2025) has been registered at Subrahmanya police station in Kadaba taluk against the vice president of Kollamogru gram panchayat on charges of theft, based on a complaint filed by the panchayat development officer (PDO).

The move is seen as a major victory for villagers in their fight against corruption.

Residents of the village, uniting as one family, had raised their voice strongly against corruption, which led to this legal action. Villagers of Kollamogru are celebrating the development, viewing it as a powerful display of their collective strength.
