Mangaluru, Sep 26: SJEC men's table tennis team emerged as champions in VTU State Level Men's Table Tennis Tournament held at BMSCE, Bengaluru on September 22-23. For the first time in the history of VTU, a college from the Mangaluru division has emerged as the winners of men’s table tennis tournament.
The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, physical education director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.
The winning squads featured talented players from UG programmes namely Ashwin M V (7th sem CSE), Aden Ryan D’Souza (7th sem CSDS) Sanman Shashidhar Malpe (7th sem ECE), Rian Angelo Arouza (5th sem CSE) and Vian Thomas Mascarenhas (3rd sem CSE).
The management of SJEC has congratulated the team and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
