Congress announces appointments to key boards and corporations in Karnataka

New Delhi, Sep 24: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday, September 24 announced a fresh round of appointments to various boards and corporations in Karnataka. The list was released by AICC general secretary K C Venugopal.

The appointments are as follows:

  • P Raghu – Karnataka State Safai Karamchari Commission

  • Arun Patil – Northwest Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation

  • Shivleela Vinay Kulkarni – Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Board

  • Vodnal Jagadeesh – Bio Diversity Board

  • Murali Ashok – Karnataka State Safai Karamchari Development Corporation

  • Dr Murthy – Karnataka State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes

  • Col Mallikarjun – Ex-Servicemen Welfare Board

  • Dr B Muddugangadhar – Karnataka Eco Tourism Development Board

  • Sharlet Pinto – Karnataka State Mango Development & Marketing Corporation Ltd.

  • Marioji Rao – Karnataka Maratha Communities Development Corporation Ltd.

  • M A Gafoor – Coastal Development Authority

  • K Harish Kumar – Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (MESCOM)

  • N Sampangi – Karnataka Warehousing Corporation

These appointments are seen as part of the Congress government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance in key sectors including transport, energy, welfare, and community development.
