Bantwal, Sep 19: Kannada film actress Radhika Kumaraswamy made an unexpected visit to the sub-registrar’s office on the second floor of the Mini Vidhana Soudha complex in B C Road on Friday, creating a stir among both staff and the public.

Arriving with her mother, Radhika was accorded special attention inside the office. Her paperwork was completed swiftly, taking less than 30 minutes, after which she quietly left the premises.

Soon after her arrival, speculation spread that the actress had come to register a newly purchased property. This rumour gained traction due to the widespread public assumption that visits to the sub-registrar’s office typically relate only to land registration matters.

However, officials clarified that Radhika had not come for any new property registration. “She visited the office to obtain a release receipt for a mortgage on land she had previously purchased,” a staff member at the sub-registrar’s office confirmed, putting an end to the speculation.

Despite her short visit, Radhika’s presence created a buzz. Office staff and members of the public, thrilled by the unexpected celebrity sighting, eagerly took selfies with her. She obliged graciously, adding a moment of excitement to an otherwise routine workday.
