Mangaluru, Sep 3: The AICS Table Tennis tournament hosted by Kanachur Public School, Deralakatte for D.K schools, became a proud moment of sporting excellence for the talented paddlers of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru.

In the Under-14 Girls’ category, the MCCS team lifted the winners’ trophy, showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination. Their spirited performance laid a strong foundation for the school’s success in the tournament.

Adding to the glory, the under-17 girls’ team put up a splendid fight and secured the Runners-up position, a testament to their dedication and sportsmanship.

Not to be outdone, the under-14 boys’ team displayed grit and resilience, clinching the 2nd runners-up position, proudly stepping onto the victory stand.

The crowning moment of the day was the individual brilliance of Rhea Hurtis, who was honoured as the “best player of the tournament” in the under-14 girls’ category, a remarkable achievement and a well-deserved recognition of her talent.

With these outstanding accomplishments, Mount Carmel Central School has once again reinforced its tradition of excellence in sports, inspiring young athletes to dream big, aim high, and shine brighter on every platform.
