Mangalore Roller Skating Club skaters excel at CBSE South Zone Championship

Mangaluru, Aug 31: Skaters from Mangalore Roller Skating Club (affiliated to Karnataka Roller Skating Association) showcased their talent at the CBSE South Zone Championship held from August 22 to 24.

A total of 800 skaters from across the southern states participated in the championship, which featured competitions in speed skating and artistic skating. The Mangaluru team secured five medals, marking an impressive performance.

 

Medal winners from Mangalore Roller Skating Club:

• R Ayaan – 2 Gold medals
• Vishal Kumar – 1 Silver medal
• Jai Prakash – 1 Bronze medal
• Tanvi Shetty – 1 Bronze medal

Club president Mahesh Shetty expressed pride in the achievements, noting that the skaters have brought recognition not just to the club but also to Mangaluru city. He also extended gratitude to the coaches and parents for their support in nurturing young talent.
