PM Modi to hold bilateral meetings with SCO countries during China visit

New Delhi, Aug 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to China on August 31 and September 1, to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, marking his first visit in over seven years.

During the visit, PM Modi is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with member countries of the SCO to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen diplomatic ties. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed that these meetings will focus on enhancing cooperation, regional security, and economic partnerships.

This visit is seen as a significant step in reinforcing India’s engagement with the SCO and furthering its strategic and economic interests in the region.
